Drone Journalism / Minor
Program: DJRN
The Drone Journalism minor is an evolving interdisciplinary program that prepares students to be successful in the current and developing sports media landscape. This minor pairs traditional journalism knowledge and skills such as writing and storytelling with media production skills like photo, video, audio and skills in data interpretation, meteorology and FAA regulations. This minor prepares students to use UAS and drones for content creation in various areas of the media. Upon completion of the minor, students will be prepared to take the FAA aeronautical knowledge test.
